Photos are required for an estimate for service. Please double check that you’ve attached photos in the “attachments” section at the bottom of your estimate request before you submit! We need to see pictures of your overall piece(s) as well as any areas of damage, failing finish, etc.
We do not purchase furniture directly from customers. We do not consign.
We try to respond to your estimate as soon as we can. If you need a quick response, please call the shop at (703) 543-9248, during business hours and we will prioritize your request.
The next step is yours. Once you receive your estimate and you wish to move forward, please click the “approve estimate” and contact us to make an appointment to drop off your item.
The time it takes to complete your job can vary greatly. The timing in based on the size and scope of your job and also, the current jobs that already exist in our queue. If you have a date or time frame in which you would like our job completed, please provide that in your estimate or at the time of drop off.
If you would like the work to be performed at your home, there is a surcharge. Please be clear in your description that you with the work to be done in your home.
Our expectation is that your piece will be clean and ready for us to work on it. If an item required excessive cleaning (mold, smoke, urine, built up grime, etc.) an additional service fee will be charged. Any unforeseen repairs needed will be assessed at the time of discovery.
Upholstery Specific Jobs: Please drop off your fabric at the same time you drop off your item. If you don’t have your fabric yet, please reschedule your drop off appointment so that the item and the fabric are dropped off together.
Refinish Specific Jobs: We do not recreate factory finishes. We will try to match an original color as closely as possible, but it will not be exact. If a red dye stain was originally used, it will product a dark purple or violet haze once stripped. To prevent this, I will typically stain darker, redder or more opaque.
Once your item is complete, we will notify you both by phone and by a message through the portal which you will receive in your email. Please confirm you received the message and schedule a time to pick up your item and pay your final balance due. Was ask that all labor jobs be picked up within one week of completion.
